The choice is yours to use the tray as a raised stand (with legs) or trivet (without legs);<\/li>\n<li>To ensure that the drinking and feeding bowls do not slide off the shelf, 1 cm deep curves have been milled into the trays. This ensures the bowls always stay nicely in place;<\/li>\n<li>Clean with a damp cloth. Avoid using acidic\/corrosive products, such as detergents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Maintenance<\/strong><br \/>To keep the oak tray in excellent condition, we recommend cleaning as well as treating it regularly. Below are our tips for the best result:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Avoid contact with water as much as possible. Your four-legged friend is bound to spill water while drinking, but then make sure it doesn't stay for too long to avoid stains or tears;<\/li>\n<li>Clean the board regularly. Tip: squeeze half a lemon on the board and sprinkle with sea salt. Leave this on for 15 minutes. This combination kills bacteria and absorbs unwanted odour and stains. Clean with a wet cloth and then dry thoroughly;<\/li>\n<li>Then oil the board with a natural oil approved for food contact to keep it in good condition. AVA bowls' maintenance oil is excellent for this purpose! Use a dry cloth or a piece of kitchen roll and rub the oil into the wood.
