To ensure that the drinking and feeding bowls do not slide off the shelf, curves have been milled into the trays. The wood is also treated and therefore water- and dirt-resistant. Ideal if your four-legged friend spills something during dinner!

Trays

• Made of oak;
• Treated wood and thus water- and dirt-repellent;
• The trays in size S have non-slip studs;
• The trays in sizes M and L come with legs that are easy to assemble yourself. The choice is yours to use the tray as a raised stand (with legs) or trivet (without legs);
• To ensure that the drinking and feeding bowls do not slide off the shelf, 1 cm deep curves have been milled into the trays. This ensures the bowls always stay nicely in place;
• Clean with a damp cloth. Avoid using acidic/corrosive products, such as detergents.

Maintenance
To keep the oak tray in excellent condition, we recommend cleaning as well as treating it regularly. Below are our tips for the best result:

• Avoid contact with water as much as possible. Your four-legged friend is bound to spill water while drinking, but then make sure it doesn't stay for too long to avoid stains or tears;
• Clean the board regularly. Tip: squeeze half a lemon on the board and sprinkle with sea salt. Leave this on for 15 minutes. This combination kills bacteria and absorbs unwanted odour and stains. Clean with a wet cloth and then dry thoroughly;
• Then oil the board with a natural oil approved for food contact to keep it in good condition. AVA bowls' maintenance oil is excellent for this purpose! Use a dry cloth or a piece of kitchen roll and rub the oil into the wood. Let the oil soak in well and the board is ready for use again;
  Our advice is to treat the board every 2 months for best results.
